Hieros Gamos
Join us by making your own Hieros Gamos vows of balancing the inner masculine and feminine polarities. This ceremony took place at the Sanctuary's Summer Solstice Celebration, June 2010.
Temple Services include: 13 Moon Mystery School offerings; Prayer Basket, where you may request a prayer for yourself or a loved one; Aphrodite’s Closet , our one stop altar shop where a temple experience awaits all who enter, and a variety of Priestessing Services offered by the members of the Sanctuary of the Open Heart.
The Prayer Basket is the revival of an ancient practice whereby individuals request for themselves or a loved one a prayer to be spoken, danced, sung, chanted, or dreamt by one of the Temple priestesses. All offerings are non-physical, that is, they are etheric, telepathic, energetic offerings. These offerings are made in the temple for in absentia prayers and will be received by at least one other live recipient as a Witness for the Goddess.
Examples of prayers offered in the Prayer Basket are for: healing, awakening, release, witnessing, transitioning after death, transformation of stuck patterns, birth, empowerment of gifts, blessing of projects, relationships, homes, buildings, or whatever prayer you are inspired to request.
